What does a corner lip lift cost in Gangnam, Seoul?

The short answer

Rewind carries one published figure for the corner lip lift it lists as Smile Lip, and that figure covers the whole operation on both corners: the design, the minimal incision at the crease beside each corner, the excision of slackened muscle and skin, and the re-fixation of the corner above the mouth-corner muscle. A second operation on a corner is quoted from the clinic's revision rates, which sit above the first-operation figure. What can be done depends on what was taken the first time and how the tissue healed, so the number is confirmed after the mouth has been examined, never in advance.

Two items that patients expect to find on the sheet are not there at all. There is no separate aftercare tariff for the follow-up visits and the stitch removal at days six to seven, and there is no bundle that discounts a corner lift for being booked with something else. Five things stand between sitting down and leaving with a written total. Two of them can change the size of it, and the other three decide whether you can check it later.

01Reading

The mouth is read before a corner lift figure is quoted

Both corners are assessed at rest and then in movement, against the lip proportion of 1:1.615 the clinic publishes as its design reference. This is also where a plan can lose the corner listing altogether: if what troubles you in photographs is the bulk of the lip body, the direction of the corner was never the problem, and the quotation that follows is for a different operation.

02Scope

One operation, both corners, one published figure

The Smile Lip listing is priced as a whole operation; the sheet carries no per-side unit. Asymmetry between the corners is the ordinary case at this clinic, and correcting a heavier drop on one side does not add a line. What adds a line is a second, separately named lip operation planned for the same sitting.

03Convention

What the sheet already counts, and what it adds

Across Rewind's fee sheet the anaesthetic fee is counted inside each listed operation and VAT is added on top of it. Why a mouth-corner quotation here is short and named

A headline figure that covers an unspecified amount of lip work is impossible to check afterwards. Naming each operation makes the plan dull to read and easy to audit: you can see what would come off the total if an optional line were removed, and you can see that nothing was folded in silently.

Rewind removes the sutures at about six to seven days, and swelling subsides gradually from that point rather than immediately. Patients who fly in for this operation usually keep the return flight until after that visit, so the surgeon who placed the sutures takes them out.
Week one to two
Soft food, and meals planned around it
The clinic asks for mainly soft food through the first week or two. It protects the fixation underneath, and the skin surface is the smaller worry here; it is worth reading twice if the trip was built around restaurants.
One to two months
The mouth stays closed to wide opening
Counted from the day the stitches come out, wide opening is off the list for one to two months. Large bites, wide yawns and any dental appointment that holds the jaw open belong in the conversation before a surgical date is chosen.
The months after
Reviews that are already paid for
The line beside the corner goes on changing long after the fee is settled. Review visits are scheduled with the operating surgeon at the time the plan is written, and patients who have flown home send photographs at the intervals agreed before they left.

Every surgical operation carries risk, and these are the named ones here: bleeding, infection, prolonged swelling, a line at the corner that stays visible, asymmetry between the two sides once the swelling settles, altered sensation around the corner, tightness on wide opening, and a corner raised further or less far than intended.
