How much does lip reduction cost in Korea at Rewind?

The short answer

Rewind's price sheet carries lip reduction as one surgical listing, named cupid lip, for a first operation on the lip. The anaesthesia fee is counted inside that listed figure and VAT is added on top of it. The current amount is printed in the pricing section further down this page, read straight from the clinic's sheet so it cannot drift out of date. Sedation, where the surgeon decides it is needed, is a separate line. A lip reduction is the operation that takes volume out of a full lip; a lip lift, which shortens the skin under the nose, is a different listing altogether and is not what this figure buys.

Where the figures come from: the clinic's own price sheet, received in September 2026. What that sheet does not contain is also stated here. It prints no separate figure for one lip against two, no fee for a lip operated on before, and nothing for combinations beyond adding the listed lines together. Those points are settled at examination, and this page does not estimate them.

For a patient comparing cities, the useful question is less the headline number than what the number is attached to. At Rewind the listing is a whole operation performed by the operating surgeon himself, from the marking pen to the review visits, and the written plan you receive after examination names every line that will be charged. If a line is not on that plan, it is not part of the bill.

Most quotations for this operation carry a single line. The other three appear only when the examination puts them there, and each of them is written out separately so you can see which part of the total it accounts for.

A profile photograph with the lips closed and relaxed, plus one from the front, lets the team tell you whether a reduction is plausible and which listed lines are likely to be discussed. It does not fix a figure; the lip still has to be examined in person.

The surgeon measures the lip at rest and in speech

Dr. Choi looks at the lip from the side and from the front, and weighs the upper lip against the lower one using the clinic's published reference proportion of 1:1.615. This is where the decision between one lip and two is made, and therefore what the reduction line on your plan describes.

Filler and earlier lip surgery are declared before any figure is final

Injected material changes what a lip measures, and patients carrying it are often asked to wait before the plan is fixed. A lip operated on before is priced separately, after the surgeon has seen how it healed. Leaving either out of the conversation only moves the surprise to a later day.

Each operation agreed becomes its own named line

The reduction, a corner lip lift if one is planned, and sedation where the surgeon calls for it are written out one under the other, each at the clinic's listed figure. Nothing is bundled into a package name that hides which part costs what.

Why a lip reduction is quoted as one named line at Rewind

A short quotation is easier to trust than a long one, provided every line on it means something. The clinic lists each lip operation separately for that reason, and the surgeon who writes the plan is the one who carries it out.

Every operation on a lip reduction plan is visible by name

A reduction, a corner lift and sedation each carry their own listed figure. If the surgeon decides the corners need nothing, that line never appears, and the total drops by exactly that amount. You can see what each decision costs before agreeing to it.

The clinic's lip page gives six to seven days for stitch removal. If your reduction is closed with stitches that come out, that visit belongs inside the dates you book in Seoul, and the surgeon tells you at the plan stage which kind of closure he expects to use.

Soft meals, which shape a travel diary
Mainly soft food for the first one to two weeks is the published instruction. Restaurant-led trips and long-haul meals deserve a second look before a date is fixed, since the lip is working on the inside every time you chew.
One to two months
No wide mouth opening after the stitches
The same page asks that the mouth is not opened wide for one to two months after stitch removal. Dental appointments that hold the jaw open are worth moving to either side of that window before you book anything.
Months after
Reviews from home, arranged in advance
Patients who have flown home send photographs at intervals agreed before departure, and the operating surgeon reviews them. Any further procedure the result may call for is discussed and priced at that point, never assumed in the first quotation.

Money spent is only part of what is at stake. Lip reduction carries recognised risks: bleeding, infection, swelling that lasts longer than expected, numbness or altered feeling in the lip, a line inside the lip that can be felt, uneven fullness between the sides or between the two lips, separation of the wound, and a lip judged over-reduced or under-reduced. Some of these lead to a further procedure with a cost of its own. Tissue taken out cannot be put back, and how much a lip changes differs from person to person, so no particular result can be promised.
