What an exosome session costs in Gangnam, and what the fee pays for

The short answer

At Rewind an exosome session is billed as one combination: a single vial of the preparation, applied over a Sylfirm X radiofrequency microneedling pass. The price sheet lists that pairing as one line made of two components. There is no separate price for the vial on its own, because it is never applied here without the pass that opens the skin first. The device component has a published rate, shown in the pricing section further down, and the vial component is written into your quote once the plan is agreed.

Quotes for exosome work across Seoul spread widely, and most of that spread sits in the product. The label is attached to many commercial preparations that differ in what they were produced from, how they are concentrated and how much a vial holds. A scoping review published in 2026 put the claims made for topical products beside the clinical evidence behind them, and the comparison it draws is a good reason to distrust a price comparison between two unnamed vials.

The sensible comparison is product against product, with the device work described in the same terms. Ask any quote you are weighing to name the preparation, the vial size and the device settings, then set the figures side by side.

Four parts of an exosome quote at Rewind

Every exosome figure you receive from this clinic can be broken into the same four parts. Two of them change the number, one is already inside it, and one is added at the till. Knowing which is which lets you check a written quote line by line before you sit down for treatment.

Why exosome prices move with the product in the vial

The device component is the stable part of any exosome price, since it is one machine charged at a published rate. The vial is where quotes diverge, and four questions explain most of the difference between one product and the next.

01Origin

What the vesicles were produced from

Commercial exosome preparations are made from different cultured sources, and the packaging should say which one. The name on the label is the first thing to compare between two quotes, because two vials sold under the same word can be different products.

02Amount

How much preparation goes on one face

Rewind's sheet prices this treatment by the vial, one vial per session. A quote elsewhere that does not state a vial count, or splits one vial across areas, is describing a different amount of product under the same heading.

03Proof

Whether you can see the sealed packaging

A product you never see is a product you cannot price. Ask for the box to be opened in your line of sight and read the label before it is applied. Staff here treat the request as routine, and the product name on the packaging should match the one written on your quote.

04Evidence

What a higher price does and does not buy

This page does not rank commercial grades against each other. The papers at its foot review exosome products as a class, and a price gap between two vials tells you the products differ. It says nothing about how either one will behave on your skin.

Why Rewind lists exosome as one combination line

Pricing an add-on is where a clinic shows how it thinks about the add-on. The three positions below explain why the exosome figure at this practice looks the way it does.

01Pairing

The vial is only sold with the pass that makes room for it

Intact skin keeps most applied material on the surface. Listing the preparation together with Sylfirm X means you cannot be sold a vial wiped onto closed skin, and the combined device rate is lower than the standalone one because the session is shared.

02Subtraction

The exosome component comes off when the device is enough

If the examination suggests the needling pass alone will answer your complaint, the vial is removed from the plan and its component from the bill. You then pay the standalone device rate, which is also published on the sheet.

03Authorship

A board-certified plastic surgeon writes the plan the price rests on

Dr. Jonghwan Choi examines the skin, decides the depth and energy and decides whether a vial belongs in the session at all. The quote follows from that plan, so the person who sets the price is the person who will answer for the result.

The visit starts with an examination and ends at the front desk, and nothing is charged before you have seen the plan in writing. Dr. Choi looks at the skin, decides whether a needling pass is indicated and whether a vial should be added over it, and the quote is printed with each component shown. You agree to it, the packaging is opened, the pass is carried out, the preparation is applied and the bill is settled with VAT added. The clinic occupies levels four and five of the Richro Building in Gangnam, Seoul, and sees patients by appointment: weekdays except Thursday, 10:00 to 19:00, and Saturdays 10:00 to 16:00. Thursdays and Sundays are closed days.

Reading the first three lines together is the quickest way to understand an exosome quote here. The device component of the combination is the combined rate, the vial component sits on top of it, and if the vial is dropped the device reverts to its standalone rate. The last two lines are there because they answer overlapping complaints by a different mechanism, and the consultation sometimes ends with one of them in place of the vial.

All figures are list prices with VAT excluded; the tax is added at payment. Numbing is counted inside each listed rate. A course is quoted only after an examination, since the number of sessions is what moves the total.

  • The skin is reactive and the device energy is being kept low, so the session leans more on what is applied afterwards
  • You have read the evidence position and are comfortable paying for an addition whose published support is still review-level
  • You can return for review, so the value of the addition is judged on your face before a second vial is bought

Reasons the doctor removes it

  • The needling pass alone is expected to answer the complaint, in which case the standalone rate applies
  • The concern is volume, sagging or contour, none of which a vesicle preparation is designed to change
  • Active breakouts, infection or open lesions are present in the area to be treated
  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding, a healing disorder, or an earlier reaction to something applied over needled skin

Exosome aftercare: the days to budget around the session

The price covers the chair. The week afterwards has a cost in time, and it is worth planning a trip around it. Rewind's instruction sheet for Sylfirm X sets the rules, because the needling pass is what the skin is recovering from.

Face washing waits seven to eight hours after the session. Temporary redness is expected and is not a reason to call.

Gentle cleansing and makeup
Both are allowed, provided the skin is not rubbed hard or scratched. A soft hand matters more than the product you use.

No sauna, pool or peel
Sauna, steam rooms and swimming are off for a week, and so are exfoliants and peeling products. Plan sightseeing, not spa days.
From then on
Sunscreen every day
Daily sun protection is first on the clinic's list for this device. Freshly treated skin marks more readily in strong light.

Redness, swelling, pinpoint bleeding, bruising and itching are expected after a needling pass, and infection, though uncommon, needs prompt treatment. Reactions after exosome application, including inflammatory ones, have been collected in a published complications review listed below. Pain that increases after the first day, spreading redness, pustules or fever should be reported to the clinic at once.

How much does exosome therapy cost per session in Gangnam?
At Rewind one session is one vial applied over a Sylfirm X pass, billed as a combination. The device half is charged at its combined rate of ₩250,000, and the vial component is added on top and written into your quote at consultation. VAT is charged on the total.
Why do exosome prices vary so much by product grade?
Because the word covers many different products. Preparations differ in their cultured source, their concentration and the amount in a vial, and quotes rarely say which is being used. Compare the named product and vial count first, then the figure; a lower price may simply be a different material.
Can I pay for exosome on its own, without microneedling?
Not at this clinic. The price sheet only lists the vial together with a Sylfirm X pass, since a preparation spread on closed skin has little route in. If the doctor decides the pass alone is enough, the vial is dropped and the standalone device rate of ₩350,000 applies.
How many exosome sessions should I budget for?
The clinic has not published a number of sessions or a spacing between them for this line, so no figure is offered here. The doctor sets the plan after examining your skin and revises it at review, so the course total is quoted only once the first session has been assessed.
Is numbing an extra charge?

Will I know which exosome product I am paying for?
