The short answer

At Rewind Plastic Surgery in Gangnam, Seoul, pico laser toning is charged per session, and the per-session rate is shown in the pricing section further down this page. It covers one toning visit on the Pico K with numbing preparation already counted in, and VAT is added when you pay. What a whole course costs depends on how many visits your pigment needs, and that count is only set once Dr. Jonghwan Choi has examined your skin.

Amounts are charged in Korean won. Any dollar figure displayed beside a won amount is an approximate conversion for orientation; the final charge in your own currency is set by your card issuer on the day.

Most people searching for a pico toning price in Korea are asking two questions at once. One is the price of a single appointment, which is fixed and listed. The other is the price of reaching the result they want, which is that per-visit figure multiplied by a number of visits nobody can state responsibly over a messaging app. This page keeps the two apart, so that a quote from Rewind, or one you set against it at home, can be read line by line.

Toning is sold in Seoul in several shapes: single visits, multi-visit bundles, and add-ons attached to a second device. Rewind's published sheet lists toning by the session. Anything beyond that, such as a planned series or a pairing with another treatment, is written up at consultation once the doctor has decided whether it is needed at all.

What the pico toning session rate covers, and what sits outside it

A per-session figure is only comparable with another if both cover the same things. These four lines are what the Rewind rate includes, what is added to it, and what is itemised separately.

01Diagnose

The pigment type sets the plan

Melasma, freckles, sun spots and the flat marks left by acne respond differently to low-energy picosecond passes. The doctor names what is present first, because a quote built on the wrong diagnosis prices the wrong course.

02Count

The visit count is an estimate, revised as you go

In the melasma studies listed at the foot of this page, low-fluence protocols ran from five weekly sessions in one trial to between six and ten fortnightly sessions in another. Those are research schedules on Q-switched lasers. Your own count is confirmed at consultation and adjusted as the skin responds.

03Multiply

Session rate times visits, plus VAT

The sum itself is plain: the listed session rate, multiplied by the visits actually booked, with VAT on top. If a fractional pass is added for texture, it appears as its own line at its own rate.

04Stop

An early stop is part of the budget

Scattered pale spots after repeated low-fluence toning are described in published case work. If the skin shows the first sign of that response, further visits are cancelled. The bill falls, and it is the correct clinical call.

A paid toning visit begins with cleansing and a look at the field under clinic lighting, then eye protection and the pass itself on the Pico K, set by the doctor. Patients tend to compare the sensation to quick flicks against the skin with gathering warmth. Pinkness is common straight afterwards, and you are welcome to rest in the lounge before heading back out.

Beyond expected redness, the reactions to know by name are temporary darkening of the treated area in skin prone to it, scattered pale spots after repeated low-fluence toning, and, uncommonly at toning settings, small blisters or crusting. Report any of these before the next booked visit, because the plan and the bill may change.

How much does pico laser toning cost in Korea at Rewind?
One session is charged at the single-session rate in the price list on this page, taken from Rewind's published sheet. VAT is added at payment and numbing preparation is already included. What varies between patients is the number of sessions, which the doctor sets after examining the skin.
Is pico toning cheaper in Seoul than in the US?
This page quotes no American prices, since no verified figure is held for them. A fair comparison sets the session rate here against a per-session quote at home, then adds the visits you can realistically attend in Seoul and your travel costs. Because toning runs as a course, your schedule decides the answer.
What is included in a pico toning package price?
Rewind's published sheet lists toning per session, with numbing preparation included and VAT excluded. If the doctor recommends a course or multi-visit arrangement, it is quoted in writing after the examination and itemised against the single-session rate, so you can check what each visit costs within it.
Why won't the clinic quote a full course by message?
The total is the session rate multiplied by a visit count, and the count depends on the pigment. Melasma, freckles and post-acne marks behave differently and often coexist on one face. A count guessed without an examination would give a figure with no clinical basis behind it.
Why is pico fraxel listed at a different rate?
Pico fraxel works on surface texture and scarring, a different job from lightening pigment, and Rewind's sheet gives it its own line at a higher single-session rate. It only appears on a quote when the examination finds a texture concern that justifies adding that line to the plan.
Can a course be split across more than one trip to Seoul?
It can be planned that way. Share your travel dates at consultation and the doctor will fit the visit count and spacing around them, or suggest continuing with a clinician at home. Daily sun protection between trips protects what the earlier visits achieved.
Are there extra charges on top of the listed rate?
VAT is added to the listed session rate at payment, and numbing preparation is already inside it. Anything else you agree to at consultation, such as a fractional pass, appears as its own itemised line, so the written quote shows every component of the bill.
What can make a course cost less than planned?

These three papers explain why a course total cannot be fixed in advance: two report how many low-fluence sessions melasma protocols used and how often the condition returned, and the third describes the pale mottling that is a reason to stop early. Each studied Q-switched lasers at low fluence, the technique picosecond toning is modelled on. None was conducted at Rewind Plastic Surgery or predicts an individual course.
